Echo.js was designed to help developers save bandwidth and avoid large hosting costs.
It is recommended for large and long pages, containing lots of images.
In case the user only stops by on the page or accesses it by mistake, the whole page and its images won't be loaded, but only the ones visible on screen.
This not only saves bandwidth usage, but increases page load times as well.
